I'm really getting tired of reading that Catholics are not Christians?

People keep saying that on here. So, maybe they do follow unnecessary rituals, but they do believe that Jesus died for our sins on the cross and was resurrected. Isn't that the main point of Christianity? Why the hatred towards Catholics?
