Soaking a dog toy in chicken broth?

hey i heard somewhere that to get a dog MORE interested in a toy you can soak it in chicken broth. i am not sure about how long i should do this and i am too lazy to look it up! lol will someone who knows please tell me? and please dont guesss only answer if u really know for sure because you have heard this too or you looked it up or you do it yourself. thanks!
