Why are middle school guys such hypocrites!!?

So these guys were with me in a group for school and we were playing Mall-do, like wheres Wall-do but at the mall. We were all having fun and talking ...btw these guys are dorks... until on the car ride home they were being loud and obnoxious! I was just tolerating it and up in the front of the car with my friend. The guys were talking about stupid ipod games and other weird things, i was just texting and silently playing games on my phone. So... my friend and i wanted to talk to each other so we started quoting a bunch of Brian Regan skits. We were being sort of loud (but not obnoxious and loud like the guys) suddenly they turned around told us to "Shut up your being to loud stop quoting that stupid Brian Regan stuff!" So annoying. Why were they being such hypocrites!!!!?!?!
