Is this girl a needy person or what?

Why would someone leave her husband to be with a man who is undoubtedly an alcoholic & drug addict. He has always put his friends before any relationship. He can be a real charmer & very affectionate but, certainly all these other things outway that. He is also, very selfish & only thinks about what he wants & not very dependable. He is also, still calling his ex & telling her he loves her. They have only been together for 3 mths. now & she is already talking about marriage with him before her divorce is even final which will be several mths. down the road. I just can't believe that she would end a marriage no matter how bad it was & jump right into a relationship that is not good by any standards. Could it be this woman is so starved for love & affection that she is totally blinded by all the other crap? Does this relationship really have any future if he is not willing to stop his addictions which I know for a fact he is not? What do you think?
