Can you mix acrylics and water soluble oils?

I've never tried water soluble oils (I don't really trust them), but my guess is that you shoud not mix them. You could do your underpainting in acrylic and then paint with oil on top (as the earlier poster said). Otherwise, just pick one and stick with it.
